North shore location, Full-time or contract position available for a Drupal PHP web developer with at least 3 years experience .. Immediate start!

Neubreed Design is a boutique Web Development and Graphic Design firm with a strong focus on the development of functional web applications and graphic design projects.

We have an immediate need for a Drupal web developer to join our team and work alongside our talented designers.

The role involves new web applications and maintaining existing applications and websites utilising Drupal, Symfony PHP web framework and native PHP.

Applicants must possess the following attributes:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in Drupal and PHP web application development
  • Possess full SDLC and Database Design experience
  • Have experience with PHP5 / MySQL application development, Apache, Network protocols, JavaScript, MVC
  • Display a great problem solving abilities
  • Expertise in CSS and HTML
  • Good communication skills (Fluency in English is essential)
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate project progression
  • Ability to manage projects from start to finish
  • Client liaison experience
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic team environment and work alone without supervision
  • Estimate tasks and project time frames
  • Ability to complete projects on time
  • Subversion experience

The following attributes are desirable but not essential:

  • Symfony framework or PHP5 OOP experience
  • Ruby on Rails Knowledge
  • Linux / RedHat knowledge
  • Web server maintenance and administration
  • Familiarity with web page layout and design
  • Experience using Webmin

Full-time, $45k - $65k
